New Years Beach Walk : Saturday 2 January @08:00
Come and join the Inaugural New Year’s Beach Walk on Saturday 2 January 2016 and be part of making history.
Meet fellow Dorp van Drome members who will gather on Main Beach at the Dolphin Statue at 0800. All Residents and Visitors are welcome to join us. We plan to walk direction Walskipper, a nice and easy walk along a pristine coast with lovely sand dunes and stunning views.
We are also honoured to have Ludwig Everson walking with us, the man who built his own house completely “off the grid”.
There are many benefits in participating in a Beach Walk : From fresh sea air, which is good for the circularly system, to possible shedding a few Festive Season kilos, not to mention strengthening the legs and arms. The best of course being the meeting of other beach lovers and forging new friendships.
Holidaymakers and visitors welcome for a last walk before returning home. Bags will be available for those wanting to collect stuff on the way. Don’t forget your water bottle and camera!
